Digital Photography, Take the darn Photo!

So, for a number years now, people have been telling me I should sell my photos. They tell me all the time, "You have an eye for photography.. And everyone loves your photographs".

Truth be told, I have sold some of my pictures, not huge money though, but enough to pay for my film, developing, and printing. (This was in my Olympus Om2n days).... Might just have to reignite that camera and those days!

Digital days Today.

Unison, Inside passage

I've always been afraid of people taking my photographs for themselves, or actually saying that these are their own pictures, when, I actually took the darn thing. Why do you do that?  Give credit where credit is due!

This is the part of the reason why I try not to publish my photos at full resolution. Some photos I don't mind, but some I feel, should be held close to the chest.  Here is one of my pics from my iphone published at full res.  If you click on the photo you will get the full picture.  Sometimes you just have to be in the right place at the right time.  And you have to take the image for what it's worth!  More than a thousand words!  I whitened out the license plate just in case.  This is one time that I just can't resist any comment.  Just use your imagination.  I pulled up beside that vehicle and asked them if I could borrow their spare.  The gentlemen laughed.

Have I got a spare for you!  Not one of those Mickey Mouse, small useless, pieces of crap... but a Full size tire!  Wish we all had a real spare... hmmm Lol...  I'll bet one might go more than 50 km on that one....

Well no one can deny this is my photo.  Surprisingly it's from my iphone, but that is all I had at the time.  It was a picture that had to be taken.  I thought of many Stories about that one... and I would love to hear yours.

My Next Blog.... A Challenge....... T.B.C.

to be continued..........

Sometimes it's all in the moment.  If you have a great camera with you, hopefully you have the right lens and the right settings, but if all else fails........ take the the fricken picture with whatever you have!
